What is the best cloth for cleaning a TV or computer screen?

A suede microfibre cloth is the best choice for screens. Its smooth, flat weave lifts fingerprints and dust without scratching anti glare coatings or leaving lint. Always turn the screen off first, so smudges are easier to see, and wipe gently in one direction with light pressure.

How do I clean a phone or laptop screen safely?

Turn the device off and unplug it. Wipe the screen gently with a dry suede microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen a corner of the cloth with water or a screen cleaner, never spray liquid directly onto the device, then wipe again with a dry part of the cloth. Suede microfibre is a flat woven microfibre fabric with a soft, suede-like feel and no raised loops.
