FAQs
Microfibre & Chemical Questions
My microfibre is linting, what should I do?
While we try our very best to have all lint removed from the cloth during the manufacturing process, some residual lint can sometimes be found.
We recommend washing your microfibre before use, however we understand this is not always ideal. Hence if you are experiencing some linting, toss your microfibre in the dryer for 15-20 mins on a low heat and this tumbling should remove the lint.
I have a car with soft paint, which cloth should I use?
We know the struggles! We'd recommend that you use a higher pile cloth from our Korean Range. These cloth are a 70/30 blend of polyester/polyamide. The higher the concentration of polyamide will give the cloth a softer but also more absorbent characteristic.

I'm drying my car at home, what is the best drying towel for me?
While drying your car at home, the choice ultimately comes down to preference. There is a ratio that comes into play, as with high absorbency there will be a longer time for the towel to dry for it's next use. Some people might prefer a smaller towel because that means easier control. All of these are factors which you can consider when selecting a drying towel.
Below you will find our recommendations based on the criteria you might have.
For those looking for the MOST absorbent towel, we recommend looking at the Aqua/Grey Drying Towel, the Korean Hybrid Weave, and the Korean Twist Loop.
For those looking for something a little smaller, we suggest the Korean Twist Loop 30x40.
Keeping in mind that all of these are great choices, it just comes down to preference!
I'm a car detailer and need a drying towel, what is the best drying towel for me?
If you're a car detailer, the constant issue is having a towel that is effective and dries fast enough for you to use it again during the day. So don't worry we haven't forgotten about you.
We'd recommend our One-Sided Twist Loop, this is light weight enough that it's not going take very long to dry for reuse, but doesn't compromise on quality!
Can we use our microfibre cloths in our childcare centres and aged care facilities?
Absolutely. Our microfibre cloths give peace of mind to all staff and administration that health and hygiene standards are being exceeded by using a product of such high quality. There are many reasons why microfibre cloths rather than standard cleaning cloths found in the supermarkets are beneficial to both the childcare centre and the children themselves
These benefits include:
- Antibacterial cleaning and reducing the need to use chemicals which could potentially trigger reactions amongst children.
- Improves assessment and rating results in Quality Areas including: Element 2.1.3 – Effective hygiene practices are promoted and implemented and Element 2.1.4 – Steps are taken to control the spread of infectious diseases.
- Effectively cleaning the surface as microfibre cloths lift the dirt, not just move it around
- Microfibre cloths are available in multiple colours enabling specific colours to be allocated for specific areas (i.e. kitchen, office, desks, floor spills, toilets, etc.)

Microfibre Care
How should I wash my Microfibre?
Washing microfibre can be tricky business if you don't have the right tools!
Microfibre and Cotton DO NOT mix. So the number 1 rule for washing microfibre is to keep them seperate for washing - this is because cotton fibres (lint) can clog the microfibre structures and damage the effectiveness of the cloth.
We have spent a long time developing a Microfibre Wash which is a perfect balance of components which revive your cloths.
To use the Microfibre we recommend:
- Microfibre products must be washed separately to to all other towels, cloths and clothes.
- Wash microfibres on warm wash cycle with no other fabric softeners chemicals or detergents.
- Use 20ml - 20ml for a smaller load
- Use 40ml - 100ml for a larger load
- For heaver soiled cloths it is recommended to rub a small amount of detergent directly on the stain before soaking the microfibres for an hour in 20ml of solution with at least 2 litres of warm water. This will help agitate any stains and or odours prior to putting them into a washing machine for a regular wash.
