High quality foam from the USA High Quality Hook & Loop backing Cutting & Finishing Spot Surface reduces heat Yellow pad is a medium density foam this is best for moving light to moderate defects Black is a softer pad but still firm enough to polish out light swirls, this is a finishing pad

These two pads, one soft, one hard, were under $7 each. I have only one vehicle to polish and I dont expect to use the pads very often afterwards. They seem to be really good quality and importantly, the soft one is soft and the harder one is actually harder!
